Mae Chetcuti
Founder & Beauty Specialist
Certified nail technician, semi-permanent makeup artist, and trained beautician. Founder of Orden Beauty in Swatar, Birkirkara.
How Orden Beauty Started
I got into beauty a few years ago while living in Malta. I started taking courses and got hooked pretty fast. I did my Nail Technician Certification with System Unique here in Malta, then my Threading and Lash Lift and Brow Lamination certifications at International School of Beauty, also in Malta.
After that I went to the Philippines to train at Brow Artisan Beauty Lounge, where I got my SPMU certification in eyebrow machine shading. Then I came back to Malta and completed the Biotek Semi-Permanent Makeup Artist program, which focuses on eyebrow design and tattooing.
I opened Orden Beauty in September 2025 on Triq Guzepp Xuereb in Swatar, Birkirkara. The name comes from my maiden name, Ordeniza.
Most of my clients come for eyebrow waxing and nails. I also do threading, facial waxing, body waxing, lash treatments, and facials. I use MCCM medical-grade products for facial treatments because they deliver visible results and are backed by clinical research.

How I Work
Every face is different. Before I start any brow treatment, I look at bone structure, natural brow growth, and what shape will actually suit the person sitting in front of me. I do not follow a one-size-fits-all template.
For nails, I focus on clean prep work. Nails that last start with proper preparation. I take my time with cuticle care and shaping before any polish or gel goes on. Shortcuts show up two weeks later when things start lifting.
For facials, I work with MCCM products. MCCM is a medical cosmetics brand from Spain that formulates professional-grade serums, peels, and masks. Their products contain active concentrations that you will not find in retail skincare. I choose them because I can see the difference in my clients' skin after a single session.
I keep my appointment slots realistic. If a treatment takes 45 minutes to do properly, that is what I book. Rushing means mistakes, and I would rather have fewer clients per day than send someone out with work I am not happy with.
